Old news, and I'm quite afraid it will suck ass.
It was originally supposed to be Mechwarrior (aka Mechwarrior 5, aka Mechwarrior Reboot), which got nixed because of Harmony blows a goat Gold. Now they've morphed it into an online only game, which will quite likely be a pile. It is free to play, however you aren't likely to find me on there. I like me vs. AI, not PvP.

I wouldn't write this game off until its actually released. FtP imho is no longer code for money sucking aberration that barely qualifies as a game, not after having played World of Tanks. I'm still skeptical, but I at least give it the benefit of waiting till release. Now, you have a point with not like PvP and wanting AI to fight but that is personal opinion and not a true critique of the game. To each his own as they say. Just be careful sharing that opinion as a general statement cause you might end up turning someone away from a game they would like because of your own dislike.
I honestly think only time will tell on this one.
side note... anyone else here play World of Tanks? I've been hooked bad.

My complaint is that they had what looked like an awesome PvAI game going before H.G. stuck their nose in, and have basically trashed all that for PvP. Thats what I'm angry about and why it'll suck 
The quality may be there, but PvP gets old very quickly. Especially when you get the no-lifers who have 40 hours a week to play it and have everything so they always dominate. It takes all the fun out of the game, its the reason I don't play any Online Only game.
