Overview:
    In an attempt to modify the Zeus design to be a more effective support mech Mart'n'Marv's
    MechMArt has come up with the ZEU-9X. Replacing both of it's long range systems with more
    powerful systems. The gauss cannon, while ammo dependant, runs much cooler than the ER PPC
    on the standard model, and  the LRM 20 offers more punch in one system than the old LRM 15
    system did.
    
    The older large laser was kept as it is intended to compliment the medium and small laser
    in close in combat, which the design team did not want to diminish in such a large machine.

Capabilities:
    Between the gauss cannon and the Lrm 20, this Zeus has some decent long range firepower yet
    because of the Gauss cannon's minimum it can still bring that weapon to bear on targets who
    think they can close within it's optimum range. The laser compliment  can come online about
    the time the LRM's are taken off and the heat is very bearable. The design team wanted it to
    be rather mobile as to reflect the combat of this newer era. So while this Zeus still has a
    top speed of 64kph, it can now also jump up to 120 meters. Something of a suprise to any
    opponent as no known Zeus variant has jump capabilities.

Deployment:
    As yet the only unit to field this design is the little known merc group Bridger's Brigade
    commanded by Calhoun Bridger. 2 mechs of this configeration are known to exist at this time.
