Site Patch [2.17.22] Applied:
Another quick update with a few more minor enhancements, just to keep the ball rolling. The below lists all the changes with this patch in more detail:

Enhancements
  • Updated the Superheavy Biped record sheet so the armor pips for the Left and Right Rear Torsos are now printed.
  • A new icon has been added in the unit distribution screen to "Compact all criticals". Clicking this will shift all criticals in a location up so they occupy contiguous spots from the top-most position downward. The only exception to this is the Head, where the standard items are placed and remain as is.
  • Updated the Armament section to denote mixed tech equipment, when applicable. This is now inline with how it was done in the Weapons & Ammo section. Now, if an Inner Sphere design has two Medium Pulse Lasers, one Clan and one Inner Sphere, the readout will show two entries. One with a '(C)' to denote Clan equipment, and the other listed normally. Previously these would both be listed together and there would be no way to know one was Clan without looking in the Weapons & Ammo section.
  • I tweaked the BV calculation when viewing a design so the readout screen, as well as any generated files, now always reflects the modified BV when ammo data is changed. It worked fine when warrior data was modified, but if I replaced an ammo bin to be Empty, the updated BV was not showing or appearing on generated files.

Touring the Stars: Wynn's Roost:
While the Outworlds Alliance shrunk on ComStar’s maps for two hundred years, not all of disappearing worlds died. The “Outworlds Wastes” also included secessionists, would-be pocket imperial capitals, abandoned worlds, pirate havens, pirates’ victims, and imagined sanctuaries from the bloody Succession Wars. Wynn’s Roost was one such world, alternately seceding from the defenseless Outworlds, attempting to build an interstellar nation, being abandoned by collapsing civilization, and suffering pirates’ depredations. The sulfurous world has outlasted its pirate tormentors, rebuilt its industrial base, and hosts a growing population that is now reaching out to the stars. It is a glimpse of the potential of the modern Periphery.

Overview:
    A captured Barghest ended up in Kurita hands when Smoked Jaguar drop ships were captured
    with IS battlemechs that had been stripped of engines and armour but frames had been left.
    
    
    
    Given an Engine from a Grasshopper that they had no more cockpits for after one too many
    tangles with elementals. The engine let the empty Barghest gain a new lease on life. House
    Kurita left Standard Armour and Standard Internals on it but put a different engine in it.
    
    
    
    The jump jets seemed to be logical considering the Grasshopper engine was built for them.
    Even if it meant rebuilding the Barghest's internal structure, because that was easier than
    finding a new cockpit for a Grasshopper in Clan territory.

Capabilities:
    4 Medium Pulses and 2 Streak SRM 2s were put into this mech in an attempt to counter
    Elementals. The ER Large and the 2 ER Mediums, with the LRM 5 were suppost to provide longer
    range firepower but at the same time the clans out ranged this quad refit.
    
    
    
    Its tough but at the same time its kind of nice to know that one can send this quad out and
    expect it to fight effectively against most swarm attackers before they reach point blank
    range.

Deployment:
    The few House Kurita has are treasured because of their uniqueness. Meaning that samurai who
    are given this mech are either dispossed or are being brought out of retirement to any
    design that is available in an attempt to bolster sagging forces after the Ronin war that
    occured when Ghost Bear and DCMS chose to co-exist.
    
    
    
    House Steiner detests this refit and believes it isn't as effective as their Barghest's.
