BattleMech: Locust LCT-1E
Rating: 5.00
Comment: Possibly the most innovative design of a light mech ever. We used to make jokes about 'Locust Pilots' and that they had to be suicidal! The speed and decent firepower of the main design locust is still a thing of beauty.

BattleMech: Atlas AS7-D
Rating: 4.00
Comment: Still one of the most fearsom sights that ever made actuators freeze, this beast rarely needs anyone to flatter it.
I feel, however, that the LRM 20, while an effective long range tool, is better served by simply loading up with LRM 5's and splitting the ammo packs. This conserves space and allows the ammo usage to reflect the amount of force necessary to dispatch lesser foes while not diminishing the longevity of range.

BattleMech: Atlas AS7-E
Rating: 2.50
Comment: While it does lead to the temptation of less ammunition reloading and combat longevity, the removal of the AC20 seems almost sacriligious. It's hard to beat the localized damage capacity by splitting your targeting thoughout various weapons systems and it also leads to more of a military aspect (due to lack of usable salvage). Most mercs who could afford one of these baby's probably don't really give a hoot about salvage anyways though, so all in all I leave it as an equal to it's oridginal design. No better. No worse.
