This is just a little notice that CANADA rules at hockey! What a game! I have no more words to describe it!

And how many medals do you have???
Just thought I would pour cold.... no I think hot water works better.
Time to rub salt in. How many NHL teams do you have? Last Stanely Cup won by a Canadian Team? Why 50 years between Golds for the nation that invented Hockey?
AWAD- like I should be talking...... last time the US did anything in Soccer?!

Medals: 17, not bad considering we have about 10 percent the population of the US.
NHL teams: 6, again, see above.
Stanley Cups: considering the number of teams we have, we've done fairly well. Last Stanley Cup for Canada was a few years back for Toronto.
50 years?: I have no answer except lack of funding for our athletes. Canada is bad for financial support for our athletes and military, yet we expect the impossible from them.

Montreal Canadiens, 1993.
THAT was the last time a Canadian team won the Cup. Toronto last won the Cup in 1967. Since then, the only Canadian teams to win the Cup have been Montreal, Edmonton, and Calgary. The Laffs, OTOH, haven't won jack.

(It's kinda pathetic when a Yank in NORTH CAROLINA knows more about hockey than a Canadian, you know?)

Congatulations! Hated to see our guys lose but if to anyone, glad it was you. I'm still a believer that the most explosive NHLers are Canadian. It was just very cool how the whole tourney developed. Couldn't have been more exiting. But did you have to beat the women too?

You know, to tell the truth, I don't actually watch Hockey much (looks around for any other Canadians.) I'm bored by the NHL, as I find it's just a bunch of overpaid primadonnas who, by and large, aren't really all that good. But, they're big, and tough, and, over all, boring... (altough I do like hockey fights...!)

Your Canadian and you can't skate? Ouch.I thought you guys learned to skate before you learned to walk? I'll admit I'm not a "strong" skater but I'm getting better thanks to rollerblades. It's a lot more fun to skate on a warm day than a cold one. Although wiping out on tar in shorts is a bit worse than a frozen pond fully clothed.

I can't ski either. In fact, I can't stand winter!
But, I do like to drink! And, I understand curling... sort of. You throw a rock, and then you drink a beer! My kinda game! Drinking, and throwing rocks!

I dunno. But, I think curling would be a much cooler game if it was full contact. The guy throwing the rock has to fend off a body check before making the throw, and the guys sweeping have to fight off ninjas, or something like that. And, maybe a goalie at the end...?
