All drinks being purchased in celebration of a new rank shall include a 3 C-Bill fee.

All drinks being purchased for other reasons shall not have to pay the fee.

As is true of all directives by Mordel, this fee is retroactive to the date he thought of it first, which was approximately 5 months ago.

This new fee will appear as a line item on all future statements.

Ditto, as my rank and unit are customized, there's no fear of being promoted anytime soon.

In Sir Henry's case, it was a matter of promoting someone somewhere they can do the least harm.

Nobody cares too much what a Field Marshall thinks (except generals...) Now, the wrath of a Sergeant or Master Corporal on inspection is something to be feared! I know, having been on both ends of the bad inspection...

Most dangerous thing in combat: a 1st LT with a map and a compass.

No, it's the 2LT. The 1LT has survived long enough to know that it's a good idea to ask the Platoon Sergeant for advice, like how to read a map, etc.

I think that it's a 2Lt. 1Lt's haven't enough knowlege to be a danger, and the NCO's have a tight reign on them. A 2Lt has just enough knowlege to be dangerous and not enough experience to use it properly.
