Party:
6 * 3025 Commando (banged up after a previous bout against some tanks)
1 * customized 3025 Enforcer [AC/5, SRM 4, ECM, extra medium laser, large laser] (ditto)
OPFOR:
1 * heavily customized 3025 Battlemaster [ECM suite, ferro armor, command console]
The set-up was that the party had broken up into three prongs in order to take a town. This prong broke through first, and so got to face the city commander's mech. The battle took close to three hours to play tonight.
One Commando got slagged due to an ammo hit, two others lost limbs, and two others lost at least one weapon.
The Battlemaster got shredded, finally going down when a failed piloting skill roll resulted in gyro hit #2. When it went down, the head was the only location on the front facing that still had any armor... and only two points, at that.

Almost forgot -
This was urban combat.
All participants had to either move through water or along a road; otherwise, they had to face a penalty for moving through rubble / light structures.
