What about IS merc's who recovered/stole this Mech? Also, so far this thing dissipates 20 heat....there's no way you could even half your weapons without overheating.

I suppose that the price is good for that. But, then I should just post the black market cost, since that is about the only place they will be able to sell. Unless their employer really likes them and is willing to pay double.

Umm, you might want to make sure your Mk 1 sensors are working right (translation: reread the post). This mech can dissipate heat of 24 pts. Not 20 pts.

Ok...I did mess my calc's somewhere...
I see: 10 engine dhs plus 2 dhs plus another 3 dhs = 15*2 = 30 points dissipated. I think.

Actually, it is 40 pts that can be dissipated by this mech.
15 (base)+ 3 (left arm) + 1 (right torso) + 1 (right leg) = 20 total heat sinks.
56 is the total heat for an alpha strike (front weapons only) while at a full run.

How is it 15 stock Sinks, the limit caps off at 10 I thought...

The D-Wolf has 15 heat sinks set into the base chassis. This means that every version of the D-Wolf has a minimum of 15 double heat sinks.
Every engine has 10 base heat sinks and the 300XL is able to carry two more, at a cost in weight and not space.
