==Overview:==
As the Civil War in the Federated Suns dragged on and on, it became obvious that a new, in expensive multi-role tank would be in high demand by the war's end. With that in mind, Fox-Tech's engineers went to work, designing a tank that would similar to the old Capellan Vindicator BattleMech. Capable of performing any task except transport, the Kuarve was a jack-of-all-trades, something the battered Federated military desperately needed. Incredibly, the Federated government turned up their noses at Fox-Tech's new design.

==Capabilities:==
Although the Kuarve is heavily armed, heavily armored and fast, two things handicap it. First, and possibly most damaging, is the fact that the Kuarve has no turret. The Kuarve has trouble attacking targets not in its front arc, though machine guns help protect from swarming infantry. Second is that the Kuarve carries little ammunition, meaning its usefulness in protracted battles is limited.
Even against all that, the Kuarve is a versatile design, capable of fire support, anti-infantry operations, urban fighting, naval support and scouting. Armed with a Mydron Model C autocannon and Valiant Arbalest long-range missile rack, the Kuarve can pound targets from a distance. If the enemies venture closer, a Hovertec Hex short-range missile rack which replaces the long-range rack.
Most unusual about this design is the choice of machine gun. Based in the Draconis March, Beckwood is firearms manufacturer known mostly for it's personal weaponry. The Beckwood machine guns are 7.7mm, a very small caliber compared to the average caliber of battlefield weapons. Although is lacks sheer power, the amount of rounds the gun spews forth increases the chances of a lucky short. Despite this, in the end the Beckwood 7.7mm has stats comparable to heavy machine guns.

==Variants:==
In an attempt to make a vehicle more popular with the AFFS, Fox-Tech produced a few runs of a variant with an RAC/2 instead of the standard autocannon. These are designated the MRHT3.

==Deployment==
The first two Kuarves produced reside with the White Rose Fusiliers, a small mercenary unit hired off and on to test designs for Fox-Tech. Colonel Paul Shepherd accepted the tanks in lieu of payment and expects they'll prove their worth soon enough.
So far, Fox-Tech has had little luck with the Kuarve. Few units were produced, and all were bought by mercenary commands. Recently, Fox-Tech sold the plans for the Kuarve, though they have not identified who bought them. Our Order should devote resources to answering that question to prevent future surprises. Currently, the Kuarve could show up anywhere.

I would personally mount the following weapons as an alternate more weight maximizing setup. AC 5, 2x LRM 5s, 2x SRM 4s, 3x MGs. This would also give the crew/production option of mounting all LRMs or SRMs.

Anything to squeeze a few more C-Bills out of what is quickly becoming a failed design. I didn't have enough room for the third machine gun, but here is the MRHT4 Kuarve. Replace the AC/5 with an RAC/2 and you have the MRHT5 Kuarve.

EDIT: Maybe next time Fox-Tech will design something more advanced. This machine has all the flash and sizzle of a UPS truck.

A RAC2 would be a good weapon, might actually have a chance at running out of ammo then.
