Looking up from his Steak and Fries, that he hadn't touched, Kage wonders what caught his attention.
A small flashing light in the lower left corner of the display gave him a moments warning.
As most of his equipment failed, because EM shielding is heavy and as such not protected, he realised what it meant.
Fortunatley, some of the equipment was shielded and remained intact. Unfotunatley, the microphones were not, and the enhanced listening devices were knocked out of alignment.
The resulting high pitched whine, contained within the helmets sealed environment knocks him out. Because he was napping before anyway, no-one notices the change...
