Here is a bit of news to think about:

The keys are a chunk of earth sliding off of Hawaii with a volume the size of Rhode Island. Somone is going to get real wet. LA may be subject to a surprise too.

It happened. But it happened over 36 hours. Lightning fast in geologic terms. Worse than watching paint dry in human terms. They said these have happened before, but they are undetectable without GPS.

It's unpredictable. The article did read miniscule, but I have also seen weathermen make some bad calls too. I regard this as similar. I live inland, so I am not worried.

It would be cool. Texas wouls be bi-coastal. Which would really rock. because the gulf part just $ucks.

Beside the fact it has the highest jellyfish count than any other coastal city in the USA.

But it has some decent parties going most the time.
