Nice isn't it? If I was using the old perl script/cgi system for CBT's board...ugh.. But php is awesome and handles the load quite well.

Yes it does. And I actually found a VERY good PHP book at Borders the other night. I picked up about 3 different ones, glanced through them and put them back. Then picked up the one I bought, looked through it and realized it had everything the others did but was easier to understand. Put it back and looked at a few more. The grabbed the one I put back and bought it. 
Computer books aren't like most reference books. If you buy one that is difficult to follow, you'll just end up having to go out and buy another one just to supplement the first one.
I'm actually going to re-write my player database with PHP. Make it more robust!

You can get Sybase For Linux, for free, if you don't like MySQL. My Linux guy loves SyBase.

I've only heard of SyBase. However, MySQL seems to be perfect for what I need. And besides, I already know a certain amount of SQL, so that's one less book to buy.
