A very battered mobile HQ rolls up, and parks at the far end of the parking lot. Stinger hops out followed by another knight of chaos, A third one can be seen in the doorway he is sliding a large crate to stinger and the other mercenary.

Together they haul it up to the front door and past Lurch, pausing briefly so Lurch can open the lid to look inside, He grunts acceptance and lets them pass. Hauling the crate to the bar they set it on the ground.

"Hey guys" starts passing out headsets. "These are long range communicators 12 channel comm units there should be enough for everyone, Ill have our HQ unit on channel 1, it will act as a dedicated communit till you find him. That way if you need major back up we can get the message faster as well."

Beebles gets up from a puddle of coffee. "kick a guy off his stool when he isnt expecting it, eh? Even if he was in my class in acadamy.."

Beebles walks over to the door. "Back in ten"

fifteen minutes later Beebles walks back in, wearing camo gear, with a slightly larger bag, and a steel case.

"I found the gun shop.. I spent some c-bills on one or two things" Beebles opens up the case on the bar "..on the plus side, I can provide sniper support now"

Beebles notices the crate of comms gear, and picks up one of the comms headsets. "Great job! These will be very handy indeed""

we look more like a bunch of roving bandits then a search and rescue team. ;o At least i brought a medikit (its search and rescue rite ? ). bet no 1 else did.

Current items in Rugsack:
6 standard issue rations
1 6-pack of old terra stout.
1 500 ml water bottle
1 LAW (stow on top of pack)

1 Medikit (complete with bandage, gauzz, Tweezers, bottle of iodine[no pain no gain] even plasters for whiners and a few tintures of distilled water for really bad wounds)

4 reloads. 2x Slug 2X flechette for CAWs
1 set of spare parts for Sunbeam laser pistol
1 blade sharperner for Tanto
1 bottle of Vita Orange (the Mechwarrior's drink)

***Drugs***
All are for short time use.

2 small boxes of Mentats.
Very strong mind altering chems that greatly boost mental ability but highly addictive. 1 box can be used 5 times. Very useful for hackers and those who do alot of thievery work.
Excessive use can lead to painful migranes. Long term abuse might lead to total reliance on mentats to do any sort of thinking.

3 boxes of Buffout Steroids.
Greatly increases strength but excessive use can cause mascular cramps and pains. Long term abuse might even lead to nerve degradation of the muscles. Nasty.
1 box for 5 helpings. Useful for melee type chars. Go easy on the dosages.

2 dosages of Psycho. * A powerful chem that literally drives the user into unnatural combat frenzy, but still able to identify friend or foe.
Almost inhumane agility and resistance to damage make the user very dangerous for a short while. Short term effects are general tiredness and the sudden surge of pain from wounds inflicted on him, except they are magnified at least twice.
Long term abuse are it might cause permenant state of battle frenzy and very rapid degradation of neural cells in the brain.

5 small bottles of painkillers. 1 tablet for a headache, 1 bottle if there is blood gushing out from your torso. Note that too many will need u to get stomach pumped.

2 doses of UltraStimpak. Very potent healing chemical. What it does is forces the body to produce lots of adrenaline and endorphines while accelerating the overall natural healing process. After 2 hours (generally), the chemical will wear off, but with dreaded side effects.
After wearing off extremely severe migranes are known to plague the victims for at least 3 hours. Some so severe that the soldiers simply collapse and bedridden for at least 3 days. More than 2 doses CAN KILL.

Consult your local GM before consumption, he will decide your fate.

Looking at the mobile HQ with admiration;

"Now this is where we need to keep the kegs. Get this comm gear out of here. We can set up the minibar over there. Keep those monitors though; we can watch football and the Solaris matches in here."

And then somebody drops a cigarette butt on an open ammo case, and the resulting explosion from all of the firepower people have brought into the bar and grill levels the place. In the aftermath of the explosion, one can see a solitary figure still sitting on his barstool, clutching the one piece of the bar still standing.

Sorry for the hyperbole, but this has just disintegrated into a "check out all of my guns" thread. Monty Haul anyone
