In ProtoMech Stars, do all Protos have to be the same type? Are Protos 5 to the Point like BA or 5 to the star like Mechs?

Despite being printed that way in the record sheets (3060 & upgrades), you do NOT have to have the same proto in a group of five. And, rather "munchily", a group of five protos is considered a point, not a star. Yes, that means 25 underweight 'mechs in a single star....

against my better judgement....
i think proto's are nice, semi appropriate, but poorly written.
n i think most of you dislikers of proto's are just stickes in the mud, so
