You would rather keep the Hounds, who have WiE as allies, and remove the Dragoons...I find that a little odd considering the Hounds have more Clan tech aviable to them then any other group in the game....

I stick the Hounds in as basic Lyran forces, or disperse 'em amoung the state. That's where they're headed, anyway, so I can at least step up in front of the line and claim it was my idea.
For 3200, ClanTech'd be gone, but modern IS stuff would be between Clan and current levels, most likely. Or possibly have gone up to Clan levels, but been blasted back down to level II play. Some rebalancing would be undertaken, mind, but nothing too major.

Sure maybe in your game...do what you want.
If you are going to be bias to the Hounds then why not let the Dragoons join the FedSuns...but hey your game is further along then any other so, do as you want.

And Quote still doesn't work.
Isn't Outreach in Liao space, actually? Or, well, Chaos March, but the area around them turning Liao? Memory fails.
And, again, please don't use the 'Do what you want in your game' lines. They're absolutely teeth-gnashing on the topic. If you don't like it, explain why and counter, but don't just say teh rough equal of "It sucks, bye" and walk off. It's terribly counter-productive.
I'm still trying to figure out why there's opposition to the concept. Are the Dragoons a personal pet of yours? A source of inspiration and why you got into teh game? Is there a feeling that they're so good that they should be invulnerable? That you just don't want any change? I'm getting *no* feedback, here, which is what I need to adress your concerns.
So, help me out, here? I'm trying to figure this one out, see where I failed to win you over.

Hey you got positive feed back from me. I hated every damn aspect of the idea cause of a multitude of things, primarily: No one, and I don't care how much they hate the Dragoons, would support a madman using nukes against them. This sudden shift of emphesis to NBCs in BattleTech is really starting to flog me off.
And you can do what you damn well please in your game and who are we to stop you? One thing i've found out is that there is no way you can change a persons mind once they are set on something. You also seemed to either miss or ignore the two more reasonable posts above. So I figure the line "Do what you please" is not counterproductive, its the only reasonable way out. Either respond to the two options above, or go your own way, don't say we didn't give you feed back! It was a universal "BAD!"
I give the idea -10 Feathers.
Raven, still flogged about NBCs!

I have told you why I don't like and once again this is YOUR TAKE on things, thus it's your version of the game so do what you want, and don't expect others to take it as canon.
You are suggesting that any merc unit bigger then company level be wiped out or added to the House they happen to be in, all because you feel that they are too powerful, yet so far nothing in the game supports this. Once again I point out that the Dragoons are not taking part in the FC Civil War, and their last operationial combat fighting was on Converty and they DID NOT sway the fighting in favor of the Inner Sphere.

And I don't see or understand your dislike of them either. You are getting feedback, but like certain members of FASA you can't understand that not even one is going to like your bright ideas. The Dragoons are part of the game, they have been there and done that and are old school. They have their single world and over all have not changed, they are still Mercs, they are still working as such. Yes they have some factories, but they have always had a deal with Blackwell Industries so an expansion on that is nothing new or that big of a deal.
Why don't you tell us why you have a bias against them...

You lost me on the idea of wiping out a canon unit. See, it's one thing for TPTB to kill off a unit, since hey they can do it and we have to live with it. But for you to present it as if it is canon and then get upset that I and few others don't like the idea is crazy.
You still have not explained WHY you want them gone beyond you think they are to powerful, but yet again the game facts don't back this up.
So why don't you start over and give ALL of your reasons...
