THE CAMPAIGN
MekWars: Dominion is a tournament-style campaign, focusing on the empires, personalities and major battles of BattleTech's most pivotal age: The Star League. Players can take control of one of history's famed units and develop their hangars and pilots in an fight for control of the Inner Sphere.
Playing in the Star League Era
Users familiar with the 3025 era will find many of the same units available during the 2765 time period. Many Mechs and Vehicles carry advanced technologies that armies of the Succession Wars could only dream of, later referred to as "LosTech". The armies of the Member and Territorial States were highly advanced, with production soaring at a time of excess.

Rewrite History
Optional, scenario-style games are a fun and interesting part of the campaign. Re-playing some of history's most important battles, including the Star League Civil War, War of Davion Succession and the Andurien Wars are a part of MekWars Dominion's play.

Absolutely.
People can register at any point in the campaign and jump in/play. We've got the best set of rules we've ever had and the smoothest-running in the three years I've been hosting.
IMO, we capture the feel of the era the best of the MekWars environments.  Anyone joining will have a lot of fun!

What's the time commitment? I wouldn't mind playing, though I can't do it every night.

Its as long or as short as you want.
Once you have an opponent, its the length of a BT game.
And depending upon the hour, getting an opponent is anywhere from instant to impossible.
Just need to dl the client and create an account.

That is the rub here. MekWars populations have declined due to MechWarrior Online.
I will try to provide a good experience for every player, but you have to put the time in as well. If you see no one on, stay logged and people will come online. If you sign on, see no one and leave, the next guy will do the same.
Eventually, populations will increase again. Those kids and their fads...
