IF I recall correctly and so I am not going to say this is 100% spot on, but it seems Theo's aunt who at the time was head of OP5 gave him an Orion that match by serial number the one piloted by Kerensky and they found the mech or what was left of it on New Samankard (yes spelling is off).

Yeah, Snub-Nose technically isn't available until 2784. So let's throw it on a unit 31 years before it supposedly came into existence! Smile

Apparently Kerensky stole one of the prototypes from the lab on his way out of the sphere!
