Not continuously though! In spurts should be more than sufficient I would think, especially with the expanded movement tables.

I did some research and an Ambulance in our world moves at least 13/20 mp. An average US car can do at least 8/12. Makes BT Units feel slow.

True, but that is across open terrain, most vehicles travel on nice paved roads. Tanks and the like that are modern do not hit very high speeds when off road.
The most impressive thing is that his high speed Mech is still armed and has armor. This is a viable combat unit not just a speed freak racing machine.

Ah, you noticed. Sadly, once the armor is gone it crumples fast do to the composite structure, but still... it can fight for a bit.

Most tankers I work with, get the M1 up to about 15 to 20 off road in OPEN terrain, they like to go faster on the tank trails aka dirt roads and they will.
