Oh really? I like purely energy mechs esspecially for long campaigns Like my hell's own. I made that essspecially for campaigns its fast and heavelyarmed thats why I like enrgy but...... If you do like the whole balistic thing I'm working on something I like to call big bubba and its almost ready and that thing packs a punch.

I like it, slow but has decent ranged firepower.
This would make an excellent milita mech for a lot of the border worlds.

True but it's price makes it a really good unit for milita forces.

If they are equal BVs the Urbie can hold it's own against just about any canon mech in the game.

Only in an urban area. Put it out in the open, even on the outskirts of a town, and it is nothing more then glorified target practice.
I like to ambush Urbies. Just park a mech out along the main street in a town and send a few small mechs in to flush it out into the street. *Evil grin* Obviously, I only do that when I play as an IS character.

Yeah, you gotta hate a light mech with an AC10...or an AC20...or an LB10x....or a Rotary AC5....
If played correctly vs an equal opponent it can hold it's own. I've seen more than a few surprised players when they lose to a well piloted Urbie.

Why not mis-match your main guns? Replace on of the PPCs with a Large Laser add three jump jets and 8 more armor points.
