About 20 minutes later, Horhiro exits the kitchen. His Uniform is slighty covered with a grey substance around his midsection and cuffs.
"Someone can get Raven! when he comes to. Shouldn't be too long" he says. " And would someone tell Dead-Fish to get some aprons?"
After he exits the B&G a few patrons peek there head into the kitchen. Raven! is unconcious hanging on a meat hook tied up with Butcher twine.
Also, neatly lined up on racks in styrofoam trays are what seem to be packages of grey meat. Some are in steaks and chops, some in stew, cutlets, and stir fry, a few roasts, and ground grey meat also are present. As the onlookers stare in disbeief, Chihawk pokes in his head and says "Oh yeah, didn't you guys know he used to be a butcher?"

After looking into the kitchen, the Major breaks into spontaneous applause for the Draconian pilot.

I also wonder if we'll be able to get edible food from now on." The Major quickly ducked a ladle sent screaming in his direction by Dead-Fish.

Mech jock....kinda
I'm still in trianing in my unit....My assigned mech is a 50 ton BlackJack...my record is 7 battles....7 defeats....but that's what trainees do...they lose alot

The Major sits down. "Hope you don't mind me butting in. We've got a list of 'Mechs up on the wall, Vagabond pilots a Dervish, I pilot a Griffin." He pops open another can of AMP. "Blackjack huh? Good weapons and armor...bit slow for me though. But then, anything that doesn't have speed measured in Machs is a little slow for me."

The Door still open people begin to hear strange mutterings, then looking at the kitchen one brave soul flicks on the light and Raven is sitting on the floor raising his hands and chanting slowly, a manical grin in his eyes, "Come to me my grey menance! COME TO ME!" The chopped up grey meat on the counter and table tops begin to shiver then they melt into a grey liquid which pours silently into multiple pools, each slowly growing back into a tiny grey meat blob of the grey menance. They circle around Raven! and began to bow and chant as Raven!'s cackling becomes louder and louder.
Suddenly Raven turns and flips on a radio to "King of Swing." and glares meaningfully at the grey menance, which starts swing dancing as Raven taps his foot to the music.

now i'm just another grizzled vetern that helps maintain peace here. i do happen to write the occassional story thou, nothin big... but interesting.
