The one positive thing about MW:DA, is that it has raised my interest in Industrial 'Mechs. The following is a list of standard Industrial 'Mechs, what I'd like is help thinking up categories I've missed.
Security 'Mech
Observer 'Mech (See the cover of Maximum Tech)
Firefighter 'Mech
Agro 'Mech
Loader 'Mech
Logger 'Mech
Mining 'Mech
Salvage 'Mech
Like I said, if you can think of one I didn't, let me know. I've been working on a line of Industrial 'Mechs. I may write flavor text and post them if I get enough support. For now, I'm just keeping myself busy by designing them.

Oh god. I have tons of Industrial Mechs in my files. I'll repost some of the old ones I have so you can see them. A lot of them are variations equiped for battle though.

I forgot Construction 'Mech, how sloppy of me.
And Raven!, I saw the Caravan. Nice design. I hope all your Industrials are as good. As for my designs, they come standard, and "battle-ready". If there is such a thing for an Industrial 'Mech. Only one uses a Fusion engine, but it's assumed to get shot at alot anyhow (Salvage 'Mech).

Forestry Mech but that might be the same as the Logger, not sure. Though if I recall correctly from one of the Grey Death novels the Logger was like a 4 legged tractor and the Forestry is a biped sawing machine.

What about a Police Mech, something with a couple of MGs/Flamers, the Flamers could be like those on the coolant truck from TRO 3025 that can also put out fires doubling as a Fire Fighter Mech?

I have a level 3 weapon called the water cannon and that's on the Security 'Mech. It's got a water cannon, flood light and small caliber machine gun.
