Suddenly, the relative tranquility of the B+G is shattered once again as yet another street punk comes flying through the doors. This time, he impacts face-first into the center of the dart board. As the patrons exchange money concerning their bets, Kraken drags the loser off.
Almost ignoring this, Wizard slowly nurses his glass of tea. "At this rate, there shouldn't be any more crime in this district by the end of the year."

It's just a joke thread- occasionally, joke threads seem to get the board a bit more active even on the weekends as well as allowing people to blow off steam. The mention of people placing bets on where the fictional felon landed should have been a tip-off.
Wizard is a character that I created as a fanfic series that included my namesake. I intro'd him shortly after I first came over here; however, I haven't used him very often since, so this is probably why you didn't reckognize him.

I don't recognize him because I don't read anything in the "Fiction and Fantasy" forum. Plus as he's not a real poster I'm thinking he should be staying in that forum.
Also not certain why this required another thread as you have one going on just about the same subject....
