As for me, I'm gonna take a break. This my last design for a while, unless temptation to post overtakes me again.

==Overview:==
The Hedgehog was originally designed by Fox-Tech as a theoretical fire support platform. Lacking both the manufacturing muscle and rocket launcher technology necessary to produce it, they sold the design to the New Earth Trading Company. NETC quickly got a license to import Taurian rocket launchers and quickly began producing the medium tank. Capitalizing on the strengths of the rocket launchers the Hedgehog performs both long- and short-range fire support, as well as urban patrol duties.
==Capabilities:==
The main armament of the Hedgehog is a set of 8 Death Blossom rocket packs, purchased from the Taurian Concordant. Mounted in the turret and slaved to the tried and true ComStar Test-2 targeting and tracking system, the Hedgehog can launch the rockets with deadly accuracy. Although powerful, the main advantage of rocket packs is versatility. The Hedgehog can fire them signally to provide continual fire support or can disgorge them all at once to treat its opponent to one of the deadliest missile showers in the Inner Sphere. The rockets are also useful in close quarters urban fighting because they lack the minimum range of LRMs.
The secondary armament of the Hedgehog is simple, and designed to keep opponents from directly challenging the light tank. A pair of Scatter Gun Light machine guns helps dissuade infantry while the HoverTec Quad short-range missiles deter tanks. Although there is no secondary armament that is strong enough to threaten BattleMechs, most 'Mechs make no effort to charge a Hedgehog. A nervous Hedgehog crew may panic and launch all 120 rockets at him, seriously damaging or possibly destroying his or her 'Mech.
==Variants:==
Protector Shraplen expressly forbid any rocket sales to the Federated Suns, terrified that they may invade the Taurian Concordant. Although this situation is unlikely at best, many Hedgehogs in the Federated Suns are armed with Delta Dart LRM 15 racks and one ton of ammo due to the ban.
Recently, Beckwood Munitions Company hired the White Rose Fusiliers for a raid on Taurian worlds with the objective of gaining functional rocket launchers for their research. Although this has enhanced the Protector's paranoia somewhat, Beckwood was able to reverse engineer the launchers for Federated Suns units. As a result, many FedSuns Hedgehogs are being refitted with Beckwood "Quill" Rocket Launcher 15s.
Another variant seen with a Draconis mercenary vehicle unit uses Guided Technology 2nd Generation Streak SRM 4 launchers instead of rockets. 2 in the turret and one on the front, they replace the standard SRMs and rockets. Two tons of ammo is enough to last the Streak launchers through even a long engagement.
==Deployment==
Many Hedgehogs were sold to the Taurian Concordant at a reduced price for their sales of the rocket launchers and many have also ended up in the hands of mercenary and Chaos March units. The Federated Suns deploys a small number, mainly in their militias.
