ok, everybody.... were warriors and need to remain calm.
*as half the attendies ignore the fact its now pitch black. the other half, the part that was busy watching the big fight or about to finally place first again on the pinball machine can all be heard looking towards talen*

*they all scream in uniseen, figuring he was again trying to tap into the bars systems. his glowing face, plainly giving away his position*

Tiger walks in stumbling around. A little blood covering his arm. He seems to be staring off into nothing, shaking ever once and a while.
"Wow! I can still feel the shock... I was just conecting a cable from my mech to a comstar access terminal. Wow that hit me Hard! Everything went black... I thought there was an explosion or something.
My mech's security systems kicked in and I heard the Voice... I thought it was god... I tried to get up, but I fell...
Then the Comstar securty forces came, and something happened and I was able to run to my mech... The security systems were still on... They still work... They work very well."
He shudders and seems to drift off for a moment...
"Oh and I'm not here if anyone asks..."

The Major calmly waits out the power outage...which has again erased his high score from the pinball machine.

Dead fish backs out of the kitchen door. His clothing and armor ripped to shreds hes wearing a flamethrower on his back.
Quickly he fires a few bursts into the room then slams the door closed and locks it tight.
Leaning against the door dead-fish sighs in relief. “man, when the power went down the magnetic locks went on the feeding cages. I got the last of them trapped in there tho.”
Lurch quickly plucks the weapon off DF’s back.
“hay give that back. Its… it’s a cooking utensil”
lurch just shakes his head as the 5-9 dead-fish futilely jumps up trying to grab the pack.
“Damn I paid good money for that” *grumble* *grumble*
he takes a seat at the bar, pulls an AMP can out of his pocket only to find that it had been punctured during his fight and is empty. *sadness*
Spins towards the rest of the room.
“Anyone have an idea what going on?
....

....
Raven?”

I wonder why the BPS din't kick on faster? The switch must be dirty.... I'll fix that soon enough....
You know Joe, I'll think I'll add some non-Volatile memory the the Pinball machine. That way if the power goes out, the Scores will remain....

He looks up. "Where's Horhiro? Last I saw he was heading for the Pac-Hanse game. We never tested the machine under power surges and outages..."

Lookin over the schematics of the bar his recent scans revealed, Kage walks over to Dead Fish and Chihawk.
Removing his slightly damaged helmet (he still hadn't fixed it fully after the EMP thing) he activates the small projector and points out the problem.
"The backup generator is directly tied into the mag lock system"
"Since it needs so much power, and is a high security risk, power got shunted there first. However, since someone used an EMP in the bar, the junction points were fried creating a feedback. That's why the locks failed, and it took nearly a minute for the power to feed in."
