As some of you all may have heard, ABC is trying to court David Letterman to come over to them, and have apparently even said that they will scrap Niteline at it's time slot. Now, reports say that CBS may already have a replacement ready in case Letterman does go:
Howard Stern.
Is it just me, or does anyone else think that this is just wrong somehow?

It's all moot now. Letterman decided to stay with CBS after being handed $35 mil and smiling. And he's still better in some aspects than Leno.
