Well let's not forget that is is also an assault AND jump capable. Yeah it takes skill to use an Uber-Munch Mech.

Good point...Now what I want to see is a 20 ton Pulse/Targ can jump and run like hell mech...that would be the best thing to take on this munchkin mech.

I'm not too worried about it. It'll be just like the Behemouth, and the Turkina B, and the Masakari, and every other Uber Mech. A week from now they'll find some flaw and abuse it to death and then it'll be another mech you'll occasionally see. For me, I would just out range it. Sure it has an ERPPC and a TC but so what? Just grab one of the million designs with 2 GR and whittle it down.

With's it's one long range weapon, ANY medium to heavy mech can out range it with firepower, doing 20 plus damage a turn, compared to it's simple 10 points IF it hits...
Another Solairs 7 mech that is outclassed on the battlefield...that is the perfect place for this mech.

It would be really good in Solaris. I can see that really.
But you're right, this mech (and others like it) are the big reason I love Thunder rounds.

Not munchy, no. Rather a design of the new
"Loser" class. Incredibly expensive, short
range fighter, slow as a snail. It does jump, but 3MP jump is no help outside a city This thing requires so many factors
to be stacked in it`s favour in order to win that it`ll only be found in pre-determined scenarios. This is the new Banshee.

tyhis mech is a great city fighter....but lacks the long range firepower really needed in a mech battle...butthe variant of it...is kool...and works rather nice on the field. _________________ You ask me if I have a God complex?...let me tell you something....I AM GOD!

Screw it. Just level the city it's in by field artillery.

| No the Sagittaire is far from munchy no more then say the Penetrator. I love the Sagittaire because It reminds me of the BattleMaster 10 tons heavier and jumps. I envision a lance comprised of a Pillager, Emperor and (2) Sagittaires would make for a nasty unit to face.

BTW, the sagittaire probably removed all lower arm and hand actuators, right? Cuz
that´s the only way I can fit the weapons
in with a decent field of fire. Just wanted
to see the cost and BV for it.

| Correct. The Sagittaire only has the Shoulder and Upper Arm actuators. So it can flip its arms. So there's no sneaking up on this walking arsenal.

You don`t need to sneak. Buy something with
Gauss Rifles and kill it before it gets close enough to use those LPLs.

| Sure.. But remember, an ER PPC has a one hex advantage on your Gauss Rifles. And even at long range a Jumping 'Mech offers a very difficult targeting solution too... Where as the Sagittaire with the TC and its one ER PPC make for a good combo to ward snipe back at those things you refer too.

Jumping 3 hexes is to defeat yourself. You
get a +3 to hit on your own shots, while
the enemy still gets a +2, as if you`d run
the max 5 hexes you can run.
