A couple weeks have passed since I said I'd be asking for players and, well, I haven't asked yet 
I had some personal problems over the last few weeks that made it hard to focus on getting this off the ground, but as that is all behind me now I am now officially asking for players. To qualify you'll need to be able to send 2 e-mails per week (one by Wednesday, one by Saturday).
Not all people that ask to play will be chosen. I have a limited number of openings and they will be given to players I feel will make the game competative.
Please note that this game is not like my standard PBeM games that I run...this one is a race. While there will be combat (heck, this is Battletech  ), there will be a huge amount of stratagy involved that may results in people needing to avoid fighting. There is no deadline (yet) for applications for entry.
The map you'll be playing on is not currently available (that should hopefully be taken care of by Sunday) and the mechs you'll get to choose from won't be announced until the players chosen (I will say they will be Inner Sphere mechs).

(And BTW, thanks to Mordel for listening to me for the last couple weeks as I said things no sane person should believe, much less say. I owe you huge dude, probably more than I can every repay.)

I seem to recall not too long ago I was going through crap that I should have known better then to get myself into. While it all worked out in the end, you listened to my ramblings for a while. So we'll just call it even. Although I do still owe you a few more smacks upside the head. But those will be dispenced on Saturday.

chihawk, If you need maps. I have three of them on my website under battletech. If you want to use one. I have them linked to my SWB website so you can link them as well.
I have the Racetrack and the deathrace that I made. feel free to use them.
OH: I also have the standard map there
