Just tring to come up with a good recon mech that could hold it's own in a battle with slightly heavier mech. That could also provide decent long range fire support. with anti-infintry capablites. While keeping the BV down under 1.725 with a 3/3 pilot

Nice mech...one question could you not do the same thing with Adder (aka Puma) Omni?

I thought about it. But they move to slow. and do not jump. And (If memory servers)You cannot increase the size of an engine on an omni.

I have been working on some Mark 2 versions of the Clan Omnis...basically the same mechs with some areas improved like speed, armor etc...but with the idea to NOT build a brand new mech when the Omni chassis can be modified to handle new tech and improvments. Basically the idea comes from all the different models of the US Shermans and other tanks/AFVs, work the hull to death until you can't do anything else with it kind of thing, that is why I asked about fitting the load out on the Adder.

what about the Dragonfly? it has 8/12/8 speed and is a clan mech?

I agree. But it needs to be a light mech. Now unless. Wizkids changes the tonnage set for mech sections (Which I wuold not put past them). The Dragonfly is right out.

Too bad to. cause I really do like it.
