Overview:
Baal Defense Solutions' first foray into OmniMech production, the Judas is a 65-ton
heavy 'Mech with OmniPod slots in the arms and each section of the torso, first hitting the
market during the height of the FedCom Civil War in 3065. In 3066, Baal Defense Solutions
unveiled their first prebuilt alternate configuration, the A model. Designed as an
all-energy weapon 'Mech, the Judas A is bristling with laser weapons. The two side
torso OmniPods are each loaded with a Baal Defense Silverfang 360 large pulse laser, a
Silverfang 120 small pulse laser, and a Baal Defense Diamondback 220 ER small laser, while
the center torso pod was loaded with a Silverfang 240 medium pulse laser and yet another
Diamondback 220 ER small laser. Meanwhile, each arm pod was loaded with two more Silverfang
240 medium pulse lasers along with two additional double heat sinks. Despite the additional
heat sinks, however, the Judas A cannot handle the full heat load of its weapons
package all at once, making alpha strikes a dangerous proposition. Nevertheless, it still
dissipates heat quickly enough to allow it to fire significant portions of its armament in
quick succession.
