Overview:
The Quickcell company, infamous producer of the Hetzer tank, decided to make a cut rate mech
with the same level of simplicity as its most (in)famous product.
Never ones to worry about little things like copyright or trademarks, the Quickcell Model A
is based on the design of the original Flea and cuts down fom the use of myomer bundles to
the point that they can only be found in the legs. Simple acuators are all that allow the
simple arm racks to pivot to the rear.
To make their product a little more attractive, Quickcell designers added jumpjets to the
QM-1A, giving it a tactical advantage... on paper.
Capabilities:
The QM-1A carries a single machinegun for anti-infantry work and two cheap RL/15s for
anti-armour and anti-Mech use (dubious..).
The QM-1A was targeted at militia units, especially those involved in light
counter-insurgency or police work. This was done while keeping the weapons at as low a cost
as possible.
Deployment:
Quickcell has just placed the QM-1A into production after receiving orders from the
Chaosmarch worlds.
Many of the pilots assigned these are just workmech pilots given quick briefings and some
basic training before being pressed into service.

This has cannon fodder plastered all over it. If your pilot actually manages to kill another light with this big paper weight, consider giving him another mech. The pilot is too good for this. :) If he dies, well, that's war !
Certainly ok against lesser Chaos March powers where a cheap mech might even scare entire companies of infantry. However when faced against Mech toting greater Chaos March powers, this is good for spare parts.

Well ... , what about transformation to vehicle? Speed just enough for city-fighter, poor armor, almost no guns. Unarmored infantry can be beaten, but be careful not to go near to anything else. JJs can save it from death more than once.

I like it.
I would never use one, but I like it.
There are already el cheapo tanks and APCs, rolling cannon fodder. There should be a mech out there that fits the same bill, and this is it.
Though, perhaps the design should be redone as a 25 tonner, and stick some more MGs on it. Perhaps heavy MGs?
I could see someone in a short story having no choice but to use one of these (1 25 ton one with more MGs) way out on some periphery dump to take out a scorpion tank lance or defeat the local warlords Locust or something.

Well, Erenon asked for a low mark, so there you are!
Had it not been for him asking, I would've marked this one higher! I love the fluff! The tie-in of the Quickcell company instantly gave this one a sympathy bonus.
Though realistically, on a board this would be a useless piece of junk. Hence my rating is quite correct!

this mech does live up to excpectations these are nil but still if u have no choice but buy it ur oppoent is propley inthe same boat
but still never get into a mech whose main weapons must be reloaded by hand
