Overview:
    The Fox was designed by Corean as a low-cost 'mech with strong offensive capabilities,
    primarily for sale to mercenary units affiliated with the Federated Suns.  Despite the
    presence of advanced weapon systems, the Fox is not considered to be a front-line machine.
    It has found a niche with mercenary units and other small forces in the Chaos March and in
    the Periphery.

Capabilities:
    The rotary autocannon is the 'mech's strongest selling point.  The advanced cannon is
    capable of shelling out considerable damage, especially against lightly or moderately
    armored designs.  It only carries a limited supply of ammunition, so the pilot must be
    careful to conserve, using the RAC's higher rates of fire only in situations where he has a
    high probability of damaging a target.
    
    
    
    A standard fusion engine provides adequate ground speed and offers superior survivability to
    more expensive XL engines, an important consideration for mercenary units who often have to
    perform battlefield maintenance with limited access to supplies, and on a very tight budget.
    
    
    
    The 'mech's designers choose to use single heat sinks in order to keep the cost of the 'mech
    down and with an eye to keeping the 'mech running under primative conditions.  Some units
    have retrofitted their Fox's with double heat sinks, but Corean produces no such variant at
    this time.  The 'mech performs well with the older heat sinks because it cannot jump and
    relies on a well-balanced mix of ballistic, energy, and missile weapons.

Deployment:
    The Fox is deployed by various units affiliated with the Federated Suns.  Although no
    premier units have purchased the design, several march militia units on the Capellan border
    have purchased the 'mech for garrison and raiding duty.  Several faction within the Chaos
    March loyal to the Federated Suns have also received the 'mech, as have various mercenary
    units.
