Overview:
    Duke Brewer decided that Defiance needed a hard hitting, jump capable assault 'Mech to
    negotiate the rugged and urban terrain of Hesperus. This 'Mech will supplement the
    corporation's own defence force of heavy and assault 'Mechs. An Atlas chasis was chosen and
    modded to suit the Duke's requirements. The'Mech was christened Tiger, after an ancient
    heavy tank of Terra. From the armaments, it seems this 'Mech may well live up to its
    namesake.

Capabilities:
    Jump jets give the Tiger an agility beyond its massive weight and enable it to negotiate the
    difficult terrain the Defiance factories are situated in. A PPC enables it to hit out at
    long range as it closes with the enemy. The main armaments are 2 AC/20 rapid fire
    autocannons with an adequate supply of ammunition. As the Tiger will be fighting close to
    the main factories, resupplying amidst the fighting will enable the 'Mech to continue
    fighting.

Deployment:
    The Tiger has just entered production. The first units have gone to the famed 'Force of Last
    Resort' and are a welcomed addition. When interviewed if the 'Mechwarriors were concerned
    about the ultimate fate of Terra's Tiger tanks, the CO just shrugged replied: "What, me
    worry?"
