So we have here is a Hussar revamped on a heavier Mongoose frame. It has the speed that was the hallmark of the Hussar and seems to be fulfilling the same role, harasser, and skirmisher.
The question comes done to would the Clans care about a new non-Omnimech? A IIC take on the Hussar could achieve the same overall results. |

Whilie it has impressive use of the "cool" new technologies that the Inner Sphere has, it does seem a bit trying to do touch much for the chassis weight.
The Guardian ECM is in the Left Arm, which makes no sense given how in this case the mech needs it for the Stealth armor to work, so having it in arm means once the arm is shot off the mech loses one of it's main features.
Suggested change would be to go back to standard jump jets and use any gained weight for say an Active Probe. Move the G-ECM to one of the torsos and thus keep it as useful item. |

The idea is interesting, but it lacks teeth. The AC2 is only going to snipe, it has no killing power. The lack of high damage weapons means you are forced to make a choice, sit at range plink at targets or try and close and do a whole 10 points of damage if you are lucky with the 2 medium lasers. I suggest dropping the AC2 and its' ammo and replacing it with a Large Laser or one of the Missile systems.

Okay first of without even basic fluff this mech seems pointless. Why would the Clans refit or rebuild this when they have better mechs?
3 ERPPCs...might be better to call this an Awesome IIC and why the LBX2 at all?
What you have here really is nothing more then a munchkin alpha strike energy boat that even has a TC...wow...boring. |

Decent mech and one that fits the Suns thinking. Fluff adds to it and the mech doesn't seem to be munchy.
Nothing you have on the mech is level 3 tech, so you may want to adjust your settings. Custom mech doesn't mean level 3 by default. |

Fluff is good, but it's not for this mech. If you are going to do a refit, you need to explain why things are different and what stayed the same etc...
The XL engine on a refit is not the norm, not saying it can't be done, but why would the Clans waste an XL on a refit.
And the Clans use the "C" desingnator for their refits, IIC is a completely new mech that is similar but different from it's IS cousin. |

The fluff adds a lot to this mech and gives it a lot of character. It also shows that anything built from this mech would have been well tested given the number prototypes and test runs.
Well done. |

Okay the one question you didn't answer was why did the AFFC need this mech?
Overall the design is well done, but is it really needed in the AFFC? |

I agree with SD's comments, the mech is too pricey and lacks the speed to back up it's claims. You would be better off going with a Nova or Loki. |

I like the fluff, it adds to the storyline of post Jaguar items.
Overall it's a decent medium mech, but nothing that is going to change the battlefield. Could be a nice Omni for second line units or filler mechs tell other omnis come along. |
