You guys remember your first car? For me it's a clunky old pick up truck. Well, this is sort of like your first medium mech. Let's continue this analogy. It's alright for situations like harassment, raiding, sniping, or driving some mulch around in the bed, but horrible for line duty, medium mech duels, taking down things bigger than itself, or driving your girl to Prom. I think it is a better choice than using light mechs for raiding (Personal preference) but outside that, it is just cannon fodder. |

This is perhaps my favorite Inner Sphere heavy upgrade from 3025, and a real beast in its own right. It will get the job down, no questions asked. Good spread of weapons to deal with all kinds of threats. |

This is a great hunter...for light mechs or vehicles, it works very well in both. It has a lot of speed, which will get it close enough to rip into the backs of mediums and heavies. A good hit and run mech. |

| Comment: |
Good for hunting behind enemy lines as it needs no ammo, but the heat can be a problem when your deep in the fray. Watch that, but it is a good overall design. |

I like the Catapult, and this is perhaps my favorite. It can deliver the hurt with those dual LRM racks, backed up nicely by the medium lasers. Lack of ammo will kill this one though, so it should always have a fresh supply nearby. |

Pretty good in my opinion. Better than the earlier designs, but it still fits into the scout hunting area. Jeep it to light and medium mech skirmishes, and it will do fine. Tke it against a Marauder, and your asking for trouble. A good hunter. |

This thing is one of the best assault mechs I hve evere used. Great armor takes the punishment, the PPCs and SRMs return the favor, and the heat takes care of the weapons. It can dish out loads of hurt, and take just as much. |

This roach is ugly, but the best designs always are. It can move around really fast and jump around like a grasshopper, and its weapons are good. No ballistics means no reloading, so this is a good harraser or flanker. One of my favorites |

This in my mind is the best Mist Lynx variant for actual combat. The SRMs and Medium lasers are a good one two punch for those other light mechs, and enough to hold off some medium mechs. Good for hit and run or hunting missions. |

A great design. It packs a gret loadout of lasers, which also eliminates reloading, onto a mech that can really throw it into high gear. Very good for hit and run attacks, and can really tear up other light mechs. One of my favorite light mechs. |
