OK, turn 15 movement has been posted! A lot of limited visibility for sure. A couple of you can't see anyone (one being due to the fact you are prone in the water).
Every time it takes me an extra day or two to get this turned around, I'm reminded that I need to start automating some of this. The first pieces are already on the roadmap as I intend to implement a Force Tracker. This will allow me to store units as a "force", and then actually track the damage. Best of all, when I print the force; or individual units within it, from the force tracker, it will print it with damage recorded. So that'll be the biggest benefit to me. _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

Yeah, if only in the year 3057, I could have the technology of a 1960's submarine to fire long range missiles at someone not underwater, while underwater......
But hey! I can catch a ride on a jumpship and travel 30 light years in a matter of seconds! _________________ "I have lived my life trying to be a virtuous man. The Dragon admires tenacity, and the code of the samurai upholds it as well." -Minobu Tetsuhara

Turn 15 firing has been posted. It was mostly quiet save for jymset, who awoke to find he is not yet destroyed, but sadly suffered a foot actuator critical. That couple with the loss of his arm means he'll have a fun time trying to stand. Also, one wonders what those poor woods did to Mekslayer!!
Alas, PaWeasley is slowly creeping up the leader board, as battered and bruised as he may be!

I wonder how many points he cost himself by not taking advantage of all his targets... _________________ www.210sportsblog.com

Movement is posted. I get a strong sense we will have (at least) one less combatant after this round. Depends on how good Mekslayer is at lining up that field goal try!! _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator

The water giveth, and the water taketh away! Horhiro has been eliminated. Sure, the through crit on the CT hitting two engine slots and a gyro didn't help. But more troubling was the medium laser to the head, stripping it of armor. The resulting fail to the consciousness check and fall ended his day as his head was instantly flooded with water!! Good time...
Updated leader board follows. Jymset is somehow clinging onto the lead by a good margin as the contenders keep falling by the wayside. Can Mekslayer or the others stay alive long enough to overtake him? Time will tell!!

No, not validating tactical criticism from someone with 127.48 points who hasn't fired the last four turns.
I actually thought you had stopped participating in the battle. _________________ "I have lived my life trying to be a virtuous man. The Dragon admires tenacity, and the code of the samurai upholds it as well." -Minobu Tetsuhara

Thanks Mordel! That was fun. Not glad to see your horrible dice rolling continued this turn! Good luck to the remaining contestants! _________________ "I have lived my life trying to be a virtuous man. The Dragon admires tenacity, and the code of the samurai upholds it as well." -Minobu Tetsuhara

I wanna echo all of the above sentiments! These games are the best fun I've had with BT in a long time!
I'm sorry for my momentary lapse in spirit earlier in the thread; Mordel and I cleared it up directly and immediately, but announcing so would've sounded even more pompous.
As for the rolling. You are such a phenomenon, Mordel! Horhiro got a fairly clean and, if somewhat ironic, quick death. Me? Honestly, in 2+ decades of BT gaming, I've never suffered through such an undignified mess! _________________ "Rear armour is defeatist!" - unknown Kuritan Mechwarrior
