I think if you somehow logoff and then back on again, your old name stays for a few minutes until it is inactive, then it is removed from the list. Or something like that...

Darn Gremlins
Mordel, could be, the computer I was using at the time was a ISDN, that would switch computers (on a network of some sort...) so that's probably what happened...

Could be worse. I remember a time when I would get e-mails saying that I had replied to my own posts:

This went on so long that I was wondering if I had totally lost it.

I just looked at the IP addresses that are with each post and your's are often different within a very short time, so I'm thinking that whatever network setup you have changes your IP address, which I'm thinking is what the server is tracking when it shows you logged in twice.
Mordel would know for sure...

Hey, you should have been greatful you were able to get e-mail replies at all. 
If I remember correctly there was more than a couple issues with that whole "notify" thing....I haven't heard anything lately so can I presume all is fixed now?
