It wasn't. I'll look in the database to see why it shoed you the results. Were you logged in when you went to view the topic? If you're not logged in, it will just show the results as opposed to giving you the option to vote. That way only registered users get to vote.

Well, if you're not logged in you'll see the username and password fields on the index page. They'll be a checkbox underneath that. If you check that and then submit, it'll automatically log you in when you return.
You could also go to the Login screen and there is a checkbox there as well.
