A few more updates to be had, including a big change to the filter functionality. Details are below:
Defects
Fixed an issue where site messages you saved as a Draft were not showing up in your Drafts folder. They appeared to be lost, but in actuality they still existed. The query to retrieve them from the database was incorrect. So all Drafts will now appear as expected in your Drafts folder
Enhancements
I added the filter functionality present every else on the site to the Downloads section. You can now perform a filter against the downloads on this site and search on a number of varying fields.
Enhanced the filtering capabilities while using the advanced filter dialog. The way it worked previously was you could add a field to the query just one time, and all fields were joined using an AND statement. The filtering capabilities are far more robust now, and allow for the following:
You can add a field to your query as many times as you'd like.
You now specify the logical operator used to join two or more fields together. This is done on a per join basis. So you can select AND for some conditions, and OR for other conditions.
You can group fields by adding brackets around the fields you want to group. Brackets will evaluate grouped fields together before joining that result to other field.
You can change the order of the query by moving fields up or down depending on where you want them in your logic.
An example of the above functionality in action can be seen by viewing this filtered unit list. The search returns all BattleMechs with the following conditions:
Is an Inner Sphere Technology Base
Has a Battle Value between 2,000 and 3,000 (inclusive); adjusted for a warrior with a 3 Gunnery and 4 Piloting
Mounts a Light PPC or a Heavy PPC
Is not Mixed technology
