Variants:
    The LMT-5H Lament takes the original 2R model and builds on the design, removing the heavy
    PPC's and extended range medium lasers, and replacing them with Clan equivalents. The
    lighter PPC's have the same heavy punch, but an even greater range; while the medium lasers
    hit harder at greater distances then their Inner Sphere counterparts (and are often compared
    to the nearly equivalent, but much heavier, Inner Sphere large lasers). Additionally, an
    improved medium-class heavy laser has been mounted in each arm, as has an anti-infantry
    flamer. To provide even greater anti-infantry abilities, an anti-personnel gauss rifle has
    been mounted in each side torso, with a ton of ammunition shared between them in the center
    torso. One final defensive measurement was the addition of a Clan-tech ECM suite to the
    'Mech's center torso. These changes required that the original model's extra-light gyro ben
    exchanged for a standard model.
