Fluff:
This machine, although of an unknown age, has only recently been spotted in Clan raiding parties across
the IS. Intelligence is sketchy, but it would appear that this is a favorite command vehicle among second-line
warriors. And since losses are becoming high among front line wariors in certain Clans, it would appear that some
have begun to use their second-line warriors in increasing roles to compensate. If true, this would explain the mech
and it’s almost instant rise.
Most likely, this one was kept in the background until just recently, when the apparent shift to using more
second-line forces ensued. However, in most cases that these machines are deployed, they are either kept near the
rear, or no one can get close to them. As a result, little data exists to explain why this design is on such a surge. It
was considered a near miracle when a Wolf Thug IIC was captured by the FRR after one such raid. While this
allowed for a TRO to be done of this, the pilot killed himself rather than be taken alive. However, when an
examination of the body revealed a Tech Caste emblem tattooed on his arm, this added additional fire to the
controversy.

What specifically? I was trying to keep this to Clan level 2 tech as much as I could. As it is, I literally stumbled upon this on a disk I had. The last time I even attempted to post this was back when someone had that mech designing contest. _________________ "I wish I could write as mysterious as a cat." -Edgar Allen Poe"I knew there was something special about you, but I never realized you were really a cat." Not in everything. but almost. And you are correct. it does lack something. Med pluse lasers. Most clans mechs have them. They are light. Heat efficent. and have a good range. and does decient damage.

Fuzzy cola. What else?
Now do not ask me what makes the cola fuzzy. But it takes a real warrior to drink it.
Guinan: Try this.
Worf: What is it?
Guinan: Trust me.
Worf: (SIP)HHHUUUMMMM. What is it!?!
Guinan: Prune juice.
Worf: A Warrior's drink.

Especially after a few minutes in a hot cockpit. It might even be too hot.

I tried to keep it as close to the original as possible; but I can redo it and repost. _________________ "I wish I could write as mysterious as a cat." -Edgar Allen Poe"I knew there was something special about you, but I never realized you were really a cat." Wolfwood to a random cat (Trigun)

Yes they do. But on IIC and Second-line 'Mechs they rarely do if at all. OmniMechs get the XL engines for the most part.
This is a sweet design though I think I may just stuck to SRM 6's and one ton of ammo and loaded up with a few er medium lasers to back up the SRM 6s

HHHMMMMM. Good point. I can see the use with The ERPPCs. Makeing it more accurate at long distances. But with the SRMs. I do not think this was meant to be a long distance fighter.
I going to say no. The tonnage it takes up. Is not worth the point. The tonnage could be put to far better use than a TC.
