The Lawsuit is Over, right?
[o]I don't have a full set of quirks for this thing, but both Atmospheric Flyer and [o]Delicit[/o] Weak Undercarriage get suggested by the ventral fin.[/o]I can not for the life of me think of a way to balance the quirks.
Reflective armor trashes my ability to calculate properly: Only Heavy Flamers do 4 points of energy, and so "everything" punches though from behind?
I've got a thing about light fighters in the atmosphere I really need to type up properly and post. _________________ Goose

Isn't that just a Corsair viewed from the rear?
Anyway it's probably great until you have to crash-land or survive a collision with something. Plus it's thresholds are just 2 all around and 1 to the read, so even an AC/2 is a serious concern. _________________ The dragon NEVER sleeps!

… I kind'a knew it was going to be a Mookmobil™ from the armor-to-guns ratio, but I was hoping for some level of actual threat.
The guns and thrust look great, but I needed Reflective to keep medium lasers from auto-crit'in' it; I've got things which are better "balanced," but I was going for a look.
The fuel load is just pants, even with yet another house rule to allow it. _________________ Goose

I'm affraid that the threhold for the armour you have is 2 and MLs do 5 points of damage. Each point of armour can soak two, but there must be no leftovers, so ML does 3 points of damage to reflective armour and thus still rolls for criticals. You need at least 40 points to properly insulate from the IS MLs with reflective armour if I'm not mistaken. _________________ The dragon NEVER sleeps!

Ah: But at this wight, one can resnably expect to only be shot at by lasers or MGs, and 21 points of reflective can handle that. _________________ Goose

21 points of reflective can handle the small lasers, not medium ones that are on everything except the lightest speed specials. In this weight category you are dealing with Sparrowhawks, Spads, Coraxes etc. There are already PPCs and Large lasers in the game. _________________ The dragon NEVER sleeps!

5 (or 6) points of laser become 3 points of damage to reflective armor; 21 points of reflective will not be crit by 5 points of laser damage, but would be thinning out pretty quick. _________________ Goose

It's not your fault: I'll be damned if there's a useful example, anywhere … _________________ Goose
