There's more.
1. As Toys-R-Us exclusives, the original Gen 1 Optimus Prime, Ultra Magnus, and Hot Rod will be re-released. No word yet if it will be the 'metal toes' Hot Rod.
2. There are two new Takara re-releases: Skids and Tracks. There will also be a metallic silver Skids called 'Cross-Cut', and a red version of Tracks. There have been two conflicting reports here, however. One version says that the red version is a female Autobot named 'Leiji,' while the other one says that it will be a male Transformer named 'Road Rage.' Pre-orders will be approx. $34, and they will be packaged in what is said to be a 'book-type' box with a poster.

Here's the story:
A team of Autobots and Decepticons stumbled onto the Mini-Cons' homeworld. As with the Nebulons in Generation 1, the inhabitants have each picked sides. However, instead of resulting in such things as the Headmasters and Targetmasters, those combined with the Mini-Cons recieve special powers.

No, it's stuff like:
1. An SUV that becomes an assault helicopter when its Mini-Con is attatched.
2. That one from the animation becomes some kind of hovercraft.

That sounds a lot like Blitzwing and the other Triple Changers from the Orignial version of the Transformers...
Man I am starting to miss the Go-Bots now...

No, it's not the Triplechangers. It's actually a lot more like the Powermasters.
Honestly, tho, I wish they'd bring back the Micromasters for this- as well as a few Micromaster items not released in the States, like the Microcombiners and Di-Atlas.
BTW, Karagin, there were also some Autobot Triplechangers. They were Springer, Sandstorm, and Broadside. However, aside from Springer they were ignored (Sandstorm was only in one episode; Broadside had an episode, a profile in some issue of Transformers, and a few panels in issue #1 of Generation 2; but at least it's better than Red Alert's first comic appearance: The same issue in Gen 2 where he died!) Also, the four base Transformers (Metroplex, Trypticon, Fortress Maximus, and Scorponok) all also count as Triplechangers.
Speaking of which, take the following link if it works. This has some very interesting info about Metroplex:
http://www.geocities.com/zobovor/metroplex_scramble_city.html
Apparently, Metroplex and most of the Gestalt teams had more going for them in Japan than was let on elsewhere.
BTW, drag the mouse over the pictures for some commentary. It gets funny at the bottom!
