Here's what I'm looking for....
I need a simple method to make a 30mm hex grid that's 33 hexes across (a 17 hex radius). I need it so that each hex circle around the center is a slightly different color (meaning the center hex is gray, the hexes surrounding that hex are slightly lighter or darker, and then alternating the two colors until you get to the 17th "circle" of hexes).
Then I want to get that printed as a 4'x4' vinyl map.
Can anyone point me in the right direction for the map creator? The printing part seems easy because there are lots of places you can hire on the internet to do it...but maybe folks have a favorite place they could point out. _________________ www.210sportsblog.com

two immediate options:
1. Rick Raisley's Map Editor - www.heavymetalpro.com/HMMap_Features.htm 2. Megamek has a built in map edit. Not as intuitive as Rick's editor, but its powerful enough and has enough tile sets to allow alternating colors. _________________ one must work hard to cultivate the mind and body. and one must always cultivate the mind.

That thing will probably cost you $100 to get printed!! I'm saying that while having no actual knowledge on the topic... _________________ Mordel Blacknight - Site Administrator
