Overview:
Designed to be a striker and heavy scout, the Dark Hawk is an early version of what would
eventually become the Phoenix Hawk BattleMech. Armed as its descendant, the Dark Hawk?s
technology does not allow it to have either its armor nor speed and mobility. As technology
increased, these features were improved, eventually resulting in what would become known as
the Phoenix Hawk. Although the later ?Mech was based on the Stinger?s chassis, the weapon
load was taken from the Dark Hawk.
