Overview:
Built as a One-off out of the shattered legs and torso of a Marauder and the arms of a
Thunderbolt. The "Highwayman" as it has been christened, is the personal ride of the
Mercenary also known as the "Highwayman" Bouncing from system to system, battle to battle,
war to war, he earns his keep fighting for any who can pay. But do not think that a deep
pocket can earn his services. Operating on his own "Code" he fights when he wants, for who
he wants.
Capabilities:
Building off the solid chassis of the Marauder, while adding the arms of the Thunderbolt has
given the "Highwayman" new capabilities such as the ability to use its hand actuators while
admittedly losing some of the awe and fear that the original Marauder instills. The smaller
arms necessitated the movement of the Large and Medium lasers to the Torsos, while the
autocannon is now in an ejectable hand mount in the right arm. Only the use of Clan Ferro
Fibrous and a Clan XL engine have allowed the mech to be able to be fielded in its current
state. Angle ECM and maxed armor allow the mech to survive on the field longer than most of
its weight class.
