Car key gomes are a problem, as they take your keys and hide them at night. I dont have this problem though as my car keys are stuck to at least a pound of solid metal VW logo'd artifacts.
The makeup gnomes I dont need to wrry about, nor the cigarette gnomes. The gnomes I work with deal only in Mobiles. And this one particular gnome I have been trying to kill is pure evil. 2 weeks ago I lost my mobile...looked everywhere, including the car that I never drive. Nope, not there. So, I get upset that maybe I lost it, and George is making prank calls from LA to Hell with it. So, I go searching today, and where is it? next to a screwdriver i used 2 days before to fix my guitar in a partially obstructed LOS unde rmy bed. That damn gnome had the best of me for 2 weeks...!!!
Uh, yeah...there's that.

Why didn't to call your cell phone from another phone ?
This may have made it much easier to find it

Having used that tactic many times before I'm surprised Talen didn't think of it...
And everyone should check out a movie called The Borrowers...it's a kids movie but I found it ammusing.
