that Omi did, in fact, give birth to Victor's son in secret...
Also, it appears that both Vic (we already knew this) and Katherine survive the FedCom Civil War...and Katherine was apparently NOT tried or punished for the death of their mother...

Too bad Hanse is not still alive. He probably would have shot Katherine on-sight for being such a B****. Ohh well, we can always hope that someone got rid of at a later date. 
As for the kid, that is not big surprise. My only questions are- when was it born and how long was it kept secret from Vic?
