Is anyone besides me having any problem with it? It was working fine for a while, occassionally deleting the weapon database which a simple restart would fix. Now, the pilot database deleted itself, and I had to reinstall it. All of my old mechs before reinstall work fine, but new ones are buggy and want to automatically shutdown the program whenever I go to the "charts" section or randomly. Anyone have any issues like these?

TDB has always worked for me, at least for the most part. Are you using the most up to date version (2.0.1.1)? I found that when ever the Pilot database is changed it starts with a warnning, but this can be easily solved by being reinstalled.

I'm using 2.0.11, with one copy on a windows 98 and the other on an XP machine. The 98 one didn't have the database delete, but it likes to shut down with no warning (like alt-F4) whenevr I'm in the middle of making a new mech or always when I'm checking the charts of a new mech. The XP-running one has devolped this same problem, except the pilot database also once deleted itself with no warning, which I fixed by reinstalling. That didn't fix the shutdown problem on it, though. Both of them also automaticly close when I try to load a new mech from the recent menu.

EDIT: Interesting, now the windows 98-running copy is working peachy.

It is probably the fault of Windows. Nothing seems to work right with that program. Either that, or it just does not like you. Which seems to be a common problem for many people, including me.

Where did you download TDB from? It is possible that there was an error on the site. Try the one over at www.pri.mgonetwork.com. I have the one from that site and it works perfectly.

My TDB has been buggy only after I had multiple copies installed on accident. I fixed that though. My only guess is that the .dll files are conflicting as maybe it wasnt written with XP in mind.

Just a thought?

Could be Talen. I'm still trying to find out what made it mess up like this though, it was working fine for a while. I don't even have the internet hooked into my XP-comp, I downloaded TDB from this site and burned it onto a cd, putting it on that comp.
