As to Kerensky, his history is in the Star League SB... where he was such a hot star. Also he is a Kerensky and one of his predecesors had saved a Star Lord's life, earning the title Protector of the Star League.
Now to promotions. During wartime people get promoted faster than in peace time, and politics (and any service has them) count far less.
Of course his history, at least I suspect, is partially based on Premiere Alexandr Kerensky's real life, who ended a poor and disgraced man in 1922 in New York, in exile from Mother Russia. But that is another kettle of fish.

How do you come up with these numbers Jymset? Are they ardent Lvl 1 people or people that like new toys only no XL or DHS? Drop those two items and allow all others and you have a hell of a system. You havbe to make choices and can not just slap guns, armor and sped on a mech. I love lvl 1 but it does get a little stale.
My German is bad but I have read a few sites. They do not seem overly skewed to lvl 1, but some preference. Maybe it is the circles you fly in? Becasue I am the same way. At conventions you can easily see the level 1 lovers and the newbies seperate at the table.
AWAD- who spends much less on Btech now..... for now

That just reminded me of something: supposedly, the SR-71 Blackbird flies so high and so fast that if a pilot was able to hold a TV dinner to the canopy during the mission, by teh time he was done the dinner would be, too.
