my god, how do you do it?
it take me like an hour to twiddle with its load out.
i don't have the patience for that.
i do pen and paper as a last resort when my school is closed (as alot of their comps now feature TDB)
and my home comp is in the shop.
ack! pen and paper? :X

The drawing board and the vehicle factory both are reasonable programs. Id buy and use HMP except I dont like the image of the armor diagrams of the mechs.

I still put my ideas and "rough" creation on paper before I enter it into HeavyMetal...
I find I can find my errors (both in math and design flaws) much faster that way.

Battle Armor Forge is nice, but it now contrasts the new pen & paper rules for making battle armor (the rules made by MacAttack). I prefer to use his latest rules, which are no longer his site (IIRC). Though I hear rumors that offical rules will be in Mechwarrior Companion.

TDB, as I've not had the cash for HMP lately, also, in reference to Battle Armor Forge, does anyone have a URL to DL it from?
